The lake house isn’t the only project we have going on. After moving Connell down to the basement, there is some work that needs to be done in his old room before Maeve moves in.
When John reroofed the house last summer, there was one night that he didn’t tarp the roof after stripping it. Unfortunately, there was a pop up storm and not a whole lot we could do to prevent the rain from dripping into the house. The ceilings in both upstairs bedrooms had some minor damage.
“The only thing standing between me and finishing this project, are the 10 other projects I’m about to start.”
Aside from fixing the ceiling, Maeve picked a new paint color and we’re installing oak hardwood to match the other bedroom and hallway.
“Should” be a fairly quick project – just in between other things. Anyone taking bets on whether Maeve moves before or after Christmas?
Update 12/21/23: We moved Maeve into her new room last night! Flooring looks amazing. Pics coming.
