Sooooo, everything’s been taking a lot longer than we had hoped and expected but this past weekend truly felt like a turning point. We have one bedroom nearly complete, the new interior stairs framed and the kitchen cabinets painted and installed. We even have hot water!
John had installed a tankless hot water heater, powered by propane, the end of last summer. Unfortunately, he didn’t drain it properly to winterize it – a very costly mistake. We had to purchase and reinstall a new water heater.
The good news is that John has done so much preliminary work with the plumbing, electricity and insulation, things feel like they are progressing more quickly now.
