Here at Home Sick we’ve been on hiatus since we’ve had to focus on other parts of our lives. John was studying for a promotional exam for the fire service. I’ve been focused on building my digital marketing consulting business. And the kids have been busy living their best lives – sports, concerts, traveling, working and all the things.
We are anxious for a reno-fix (‘cuz it’s a sickness, y’all). On the horizon is finishing the lake house interior so it is fully functional for the summer.
- Completing second bedroom
- Flooring in main room
- Finishing ceiling
- Walls and ceiling in the loft
- Installing tile in kitchen and around the fireplace
At our primary home we have a laundry list of things, including some wish list items like building a portico over front door and a pergola. We’ll probably end up doing lots of boring things like fixing door handles, giving Connell’s new bedroom a door, and putting a closet organizer in for Maeve’s bedroom.
